Christmas Shoppe
We, at Pharo Garden Centre, invite you to share the boundless spirit and cheer of the Christmas season at our annual and much anticipated Thanksgiving weekend Open House. For many of our customers this is the official beginning to the holiday season.

Ah, what sweet smells greet our senses as we step into the Christmas Shoppe. Mulled cider and homemade cookies lie in wait for eager shoppers, and the tantalizing scent of fresh-cut fir greens being snipped and readied for customer orders, wafts in from the back work area.

Pleasant memories stir within us as we are transported to Christmases of our past.
• Shopping for the perfect Christmas tree on a frosty evening. That pungent aroma in the warmth of our home can
only mean Christmas is near.
• Helping Grandma hang her many cherished glass ornaments and garlands. A sweet reward always followed.
• Baking those fragile cutout cookies with Mom and Auntie when finally we were old enough to help
• Taking that traditional family shopping trip and choosing our own special holiday treasures.

At Christmas, we are all young again, seeking to relive the happy memories of our own childhoods.

Enter the Christmas Shoppe. Behold the scores of garlands and trees strung with twinkling lights. Glittering wires and overfilled shelves and tables all sparkle with special gifts from towns and villages across the country and around the world. Here sit German smokers and nutcrackers, wood carvings, pyramids, and pewter ornaments. Displayed among them are handblown glass figures from the large centers of Europe, small handcrafted, Fair Trade imports from rural communities in Peru and Uzbekistan, and “Made in the USA” goods produced by local artisans, some in their homes. Wherever their origin, you are certain to find solutions for your most challenging gift dilemmas at Pharo’s. And while you are here, why not treat yourself to a special ornament that you can enjoy year after year?

We have poinsettias in many colors and in sizes from tiny table "placecards" to centerpieces to large accent touches for living or family areas. Christmas Cactus, Cyclamen, and holiday bulbs such as Amaryllis and Paperwhites are also on display.

We carry White Pine roping by the yard and offer heavier roping and can mix other greens with the White Pine.
